THE IMPORTANCE OF STAYING HYDRATED!!!
Bring your Water Canteen to help you hydrateAS YOUNG MARINES WE DON’T THINK VERY MUCH OF STAYING HYDRATED. IT IS JUST A KNOW FACT THAT YOUNG PEOPLE IN AMERICA JUST DON’T THINK ABOUT. BUT KEEPING YOURSELF HYDRATED IS VERY IMPORTANT AND HERE IS WHY:

1. DURING THE COOL MONTHS OF THE YEAR YOU DON’T THINK YOU SWEAT, SO YOU WON’T DRINK AS MUCH. BUT, DURING THIS TIME YOU SHOULD DRINK MORE DUE TO THE COLD WIND THAT CAN DRY OUT YOUR SKIN. THIS IS DUE TO THE FACT THAT YOUR BODY IS WORKING EXTRA HARD TO KEEP YOU WARM. DURING THESE MONTHS YOU SHOULD DRINK AT LEAST 1 CANTEEN OF WATER EVERY HOUR.

2. DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS WE KNOW IT CAN GET REALY HOT HERE. SO OUR BODIES TEND TO SWEAT MORE TO TRY AND COOL US DOWN. IN THE WARM AND EXTREME HOT MONTHS OF THE YEAR YOU SHOULD DRINK AT LEAST 2 CANTEENS EVERY HOUR.

THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A HEAT OR COLD INJURY DUE TO “OVER HYDRATION”

THIS IS DOC SAYING REMEMBER TO STAY HYDRATED
