YM Company Supply Sergeant Duties and Responsibilities
Works closely with the unit Adult Supply Officer.
Operates the company supply, maintains supply records, keeps supplies at operating levels, reorders as necessary.
Makes sure all unit equipment is in serviceable condition.
Keeps an inventory of all items on hand.

Nametape Directions
The first set of 2 nametapes are provided courtesy of Lewis & Clark Young Marines.
Each set thereafter are provided for a cost of $3.00 per set of 2 nametapes.
Nametapes are a required part of your Young Marine's uniform. One nametape is worn on the cammie blouse centered 1/8" over the right pocket and one nametape is worn on the cammie trousers centered 1/8" over the right pocket.
Nametapes are also required for non-Gortex field jackets.
Wash all nametapes before affixing them to the cammies. They’ll come out of the washer/dryer all wadded up and wrinkled – that’s okay!
Do NOT cut the ends of the nametape off to fit the width of the pocket. Have your seamstress FOLD the ends under. If you cut, they ends will fray and will end up “pulling” on the fabric.
Nametapes should run from end to end on the right pocket and should be 1/8” over the top of the pocket.
