After a long drill day, Lewis & Clark Young Marines shed their cammies and donned their “Ugly Christmas Sweaters” for the 3rd Annual Christmas Sock Exchange and Christmas Party.
Each Young Marine brought a Christmas sock stuffed with…who knows what and added it to the pile. Then they each drew numbers to determined their place in the “sock choosing line”. They all anxiously awaited their turn to open their socks and check out their prizes. There was candy, hot wheels, sausage, cheese, toys, boot polish and the list goes on and on.
Our Ugly Sweater contest winners were GySgt Emily Brinton-1st place and LCpl Kyle Borneman-2nd place.
Everyone had a great time playing games, visiting and eating endless cupcakes, cookies, cake and candy. Thank you Miss Holly Lewis for coordinating this event and to Mrs. Taylor, Mrs. Hennings, Mr and Mrs. Borneman, Mrs. Shoptaw and Mrs. Crawford for bringing treats!
