Lewis & Clark Young Marines cruised up the I-5 to Seattle this past Saturday for our drill. We toured The Museum of Flight, checked out the Tukwila Family Fun Center & Bullwinkle’s Restaurant, and ended with Domino’s Pizza for dinner. It was a long day, but we had a blast!
Drill: Rifle training
Lewis & Clark Young Marines were right on target at the Vancouver Rifle and Pistol Club. We learned weapon safety and how to properly shoot a rifle in the prone position.
After we finished that up, our adrenaline was pumping, so we played a game of island tag to end our drill, Oorah!
Drill: Flag retiring
Lewis & Clark Young Marines drill schedule included a class on how to properly retire flags this weekend. We were then properly able to retire our National flag with respect and pride.
Drill: CPR training
Not only are Lewis & Clark Young Marines outstanding citizens of community service, they are life savers! Charlie Dawson came out to our drill Saturday and certified these Young Marines in basic life saving course.
