Last night Lewis & Clark Young Marines were invited to the women’s history month Portland Trail Blazers celebration game. Our unit represented with an all female color guard, Oorah!
Lewis & Clark Young Marines opened for the Portland Trail Blazers with the National anthem, and then enjoyed an exciting game against the Utah Jazz! Congratulations on your win last night Trail Blazers!

The US Navy commissioned its newest amphibious transport dock, the USS Portland (LPD 27), during a 10:00 a.m. ceremony Saturday, April 21, at the Port of Portland, Marine Terminal 2 in Portland, Oregon. On March 17-19, Northwest Regiment Commander, Ms. Nona Mallicoat and Northwest Regiment’s 2018 Young Marine of the Year, YM/MGySgt Emma Langley (Lewis & Clark), hosted the first ever Northwest Regiment Symposium. This invite-only event was held at Lewis & Clark’s drill site in Vancouver, WA and was limited to the 2 senior Young Marines, with a year or more left in the unit, from each of the 15 Young Marines units in the Northwest Regiment.
