On Saturday, Recruit Platoon 31525 came together for the first time, marking the start of an exciting journey! Led by Assistant Recruit Instructors YM/Sgt Harper-Osborne, YM/Cpl Cavazos, and YM/Cpl Millikan, the recruits began learning the core values of teamwork, leadership, and discipline. Their training included Drug Demand Reduction (DDR), physical fitness (PT), and Close Order Drill (COD)—setting a strong foundation for their development. We can’t wait to see what this recruit class accomplishes in the weeks ahead!
Graduation: Recruit class 31624
On Saturday Recruit class 31624 graduated to Lewis & Clark Young Marines! Congratulations to each and every one of them; they worked very hard. Oorah!
Congratulations to our honor grad Naillaret Ramires, and to her brother Raillon Ramires for receiving second in class overall. Both were promoted meritoriously to YM/ Private First Class. Siblings have not received meritorious promotions in the same recruit class in our unit since 2005!
After graduation, our newest Young Marines joined their platoons and we updated platoon photos.
We’re looking forward to all of the great things these new Young Marines will aspire to, in and out of our unit.

Recruits: Recruit class 031624 will be graduating
In two days recruit class 031624 will be graduating as the newest Lewis & Clark Young Marines!
Tonight our motivating Assistant Recruit Instructors gave a motivational speech on becoming Young Marines. After that, the recruits shined their boots to be ready to show off how much pride they take in their uniform.
