Honoring Nona Mallicoat: 2024 Adult Volunteer of the Year

November 11, 2024 by Andi Schwartz

We are proud to announce Nona Mallicoat as our 2024 Adult Volunteer of the Year! Since joining in 2006, she has played a vital role in shaping our unit, serving in multiple leadership positions, including Female Staff Advisor, Training Officer, and Unit Encampment Specialist. Her impact extends beyond our unit, as she recently stepped into the role of Division 5 Commander. A ten-year United States Marine Corps veteran, Ms. Mallicoat’s dedication and leadership have left a lasting mark. When she’s not leading, she enjoys spending time with her son, reading, and traveling—so much so that she even works as a travel agent! Congratulations, Ms. Mallicoat, and Oorah!
