Last night Lewis & Clark Young Marines had the privilege to honor Veterans at Willamette National Cemetery. First there was a ceremony, and then we were released with flags to plant. We stated the Veteran’s name, thanked them for their service and planted a flag at the base of their gravestone.

The Historic Trust in Vancouver, Washington has recognized the Lewis & Clark Young Marines for their participation in the 2017 Veterans Day Parade at Fort Vancouver.
Wreaths Across America is an annual event that occurs nationally in December. This year, National Wreaths Across America Day was December 16, 2017. The mission to Remember, Honor and Teach was carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as over 1,200 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea, and abroad.
