Orientation: 2024 Recruit Class Orientations

October 1, 2023 by Andi Schwartz

We are excited to announce our 2024 Recruit Class.

We have scheduled our orientations for Rct Class 31624. To start the application process and become a part of the LCYM family, you must attend one of the 2 scheduled Orientation #1 nights.

You will need to attend a total of 3 orientations. Our #1 orientation will be offered two different dates:

Thursday, November 9th at 1930 hours (7:30pm); OR

Thursday, November 16 at 1930 hours (7:30pm)

Please fill out the google form at the link: http://bit.ly/3LDMShR

All potential recruits must attend the orientation along with their parent/legal guardian. This is the first of three orientations that you and your potential recruit must attend to apply for a spot in our 2024 Recruit Class which will begin January 2024.

Also, please get the next two dates on your family calendar:

Orientation #2 – Thursday, November 30th at 1930 hours (7:30pm)

Orientation #3 – Thursday, December 7th at 1930 hours (7:30pm)

Because our program has expectations of parents, children and our staff, we have found it impossible to communicate this effectively in one orientation.

Failure to attend all three orientations will disqualify your child for applying for this year’s class. We welcome you to apply again next year.

REMEMBER – you must fill out the google form, which is linked above, to let us know which Orientation #1 your family will be attending, either Thursday, November 9th, or Thursday, November 16th.

Thanks for your interest in the Lewis and Clark Young Marines,

Overnighter: Murray Farm

August 21, 2023 by Andi Schwartz

Thank you Murray Farm for hosting again this year’s Lewis & Clark Young Marines overnighter week-end! Young Marines had a great time camping, making ice cream, doing the obstacle course and playing in the creek! Our recruit class was also able to join in on the fun as well this weekend – though separately! They had their classes outdoors, their first day in woodland camouflage uniform, and they bonded with teambuilding activities like line push-ups!
