Murray Farm Encampment: A Weekend of Adventure, Learning, and Leadership
The recent encampment at Murray Farm was more than just a fun adventure for our unit; it was an opportunity to learn about adapting and overcoming challenges. The weekend was packed with exciting activities like obstacle courses, team-building exercises, and a refreshing time at the creek. A surprise thunderstorm tested our resilience, with some tents flooding, but the experience only strengthened our resolve. The eventful weekend concluded with a significant change of command and a heartfelt retirement ceremony, marking the end of summer break on a high note. Special thanks to Murray Farm for hosting us and to Mrs. Murray for her fantastic, hearty meals that kept everyone energized and happy.
